Common Sense Management™

Common Sense Management™ is the implementation of “native good judgment” to the management process or the effective utilization of resources to achieve goals.

Thousands of books and millions of articles have been written about how to successfully manage a business.

Yet despite all the hoopla, the new insights, the sophisticated academic research, the complex management theories, current business trends, or the “in vogue” management approach; the basic fact is that the management of a business is not nearly as complicated as one might think.

It all boils down to Common Sense Management™.

It’s simple, it’s logical and it works!

Although Common Sense Management™ is simple, it is NOT very common!

It is based on objectivity and a genuine willingness to implement change.

Typically, the owner/managers of a small business is very emotionally involved with their company.  They founded it, nurtured it, and caused it to be where it is today.  It is their baby. They have difficulty viewing it objectively.

Additionally, although they may be forced to understand that a change is required, business owner/managers have a hard time implementing change.  When push comes to shove, they revert back to their "tried and true" approach rather than implementing what they "know" is a better method.

The Kenmarc Company functions as the catalyst in the implementation of Common Sense Management™.

One Common Sense Truism™ states:

“If you continue to do what you’ve always done,

you will get what you always got!”

The Kenmarc Company uses a number of these Common Sense Truisms™ in teaching, coaching and implementing Common Sense Management™.
